Unless you have a small punch, you’re going to need to cut this cigar.
After you cut it, but before lighting it you can taste a hint of chocolate through the draw. After lighting it, it begins with a sweet/cedar/leather taste, half way through it becomes a spicy/cedar/leather taste with a sweet after-taste.
The draw gets warmer after about 20 minutes, but you can keep smoking it for another ten minutes. Towards the end the leathery taste gets stronger and the after taste has hints of chocolate.I give this one an 8 out of ten, but if you like the spicy/leather flavor of quality traditional cigar you may find this to be worthy of a nine or ten.
It lasted about 30 minutes for me, which makes it a good one to enjoy on your lunch break if you can eat fast.

Origin: Dominican Republic Length: 4" Ring: 48 Strength: Mild-Medium Wrapper Type: Cameroon Price: $5.50
CPH Staff Rating: 8 out of 10
CPH STAFF Comments: This is a smooth, quality, overall good smoke. It doesn’t have a lot that makes it stand out of the crowd, but it certainly doesn’t lag either. Nobody would be disappointed in buying or receiving a box of Arturo Fuente Hemmingway Short Story cigars.
