If you’re using a guillotine cutter make sure it’s a double bladed guillotine, the sharper the better.

Lay the cutter on a table and hold the cigar vertical and head down as shown in the picture. Then swiftly cut it.

This’ll give you a perfect cut every time (at least with parejo shaped cigars).
