The Oliva Serie V Churchill has a full-bodied taste and is potent enough to knock you back in your chair, but somehow I find myself thinking that it has a smoothness to it that is pretty cool to find in a powerful smoke like this. With rich coffee, dark chocolate, and sweet flavors it has a pleasant cocoa/coffee like aroma. As with all Oliva’s it boasts beautiful construction with a perfect draw.
The ash got whiter as I smoked it; the subtle spice was surprisingly well balanced and never got too spicy as other full-bodied cigars do. It burned evenly the whole time.

CPH STAFF Comments: Great bedtime smoke, I don’t say that just because it’s a Churchill and takes at least 45 minutes of your day to finish. I say that because like most potent cigars I don’t really feel like doing a lot of work right now since I just had one. It’ll give a newbe a pretty good buzz.
